I worked alongside the endlessly inspiring Rose Gray to create this kitchen garden out of large wooden planters. This was such an exciting place to work, growing many varieties of fresh green salad leaves, herbs and vegetables in amongst the tables of crisp white linen. Up against the elements on the banks of the river Thames we grew so much including tomatoes, aubergines, artichokes, borage, sorrel, lemon verbena, borlotti beans. The River Cafe was a place to absorb and learn from, the very best inclusive school for anyone passionate about quality growing, eating and timeless style.
