A family garden in rural Normandy, near the stunning beaches of the Cherbourg peninsula. Set in heavy clay that lends itself so well to the perennial meadow planting of ox eye daisies which we used in large swathes to cover the steep grass banks.

Created from a field that swamped the house, the land was dug out to open the garden up and allow views of lush planting from the house. Many trees have been added to give structure and height including, pears, walnut, magnolia grandiflora and catalpa.
