Buying grasses in the morning light. This is anementhele lessoniana.. beautiful red tinged evergreen grass.. after a few years it gets straw like, but in the right place I like that too or you can then cut it down to promote more red.

I often do quick hand elevation sketches to get a good understanding of eventual heights of plants once they’ve all matured. It’s a really helpful way of playing with how the plants will work together.
